How to introduce the unlock code on blackberry's
WARNING: Most provider allow 10 try
for enter Unlock Code. If you attempt too many wrong ones, it will hardlock the
phone. (0 Attempts) Please do not continue till 0 attempts, instead contact us
or read the instructions at the bottom of this page. Model:
6xxx 7xxx: Example; 6230, 7100, and 7290 etc.: Before you start, you MUST
take out the Sim Card & turn OFF ALL wireless radios 1. Press the Menu
key 2. Select Options / Settings 3. Select Sim Card 4. Enter MEPD (not
case sensitive), Note: When typing in MEPD, the letters will not appear on the
screen 5. Then enter MEP Hold Alt Key and type number 2. NOTE: You must use
the "alt" key to enable numbers, example: enter MEP hold "ALT key" and enter 2.
Note: When typing in MEP2, the letters/number will not appear on the screen,
this step open up the “Enter Network MEP” box. If you do not see “Enter Network
MEP” box, you didn't type in MEP2 properly. Model:
7100, 8100, 8110, 8120 & 8220: Before you start, you MUST
take out the Sim Card & turn OFF ALL wireless radios 1. Press the Menu
key 2. Scroll to Turn Wireless Off and press the trackball (Will show Turn
Wireless ON). 3. Scroll to Options and press the trackball. 4. Scroll to
Advanced Options and press the trackball. 5. Scroll to SIM Card and press the
trackball. 6. Type MEPD (not case sensitive). Notice: Keep in mind for mepd
is meoop on these model. Because oo = p. Note: When typing in MEPD, the
letters will not appear on the screen. This step opens up the personalization on
the device. 7. Type MEP, then hold ALT key and type number 2. Note: When
typing in MEP2 the letters/number will not appear on the screen, this step open
up the “Enter Network MEP” box. 8. Enter Unlock Code 9. Press the Enter
Key. (Make sure you press the Enter Key within 5 second or you have to enter the
unlock code again).
Model:
8700, 8700c, 8700g, 8700r Before you start, you MUST
take out the Sim Card & turn OFF ALL wireless radios 1. Press the Menu
key 2. Scroll to and select Manage Connections. Select Turn All Connections
Off. 3. Press the red end key or the Escape key to go back to the Home
screen. 4. Scroll to and select the Setting icon. 5. Scroll to
Options 6. Scroll to and select Advanced Options. 7. Scroll to and select
SIM Card. 8. Type MEPD Note: When typing in MEPD the letters will not appear
on the screen. This step opens up the personalization on the device. 9. Type
MEP then hold ‘ALT” key and type number 2. Note: When typing in MEP ATL 2 the
letters/number will not appear on the screen, this step open up the “Enter
Network MEP” box. 10. Enter the unlock code. 11. Press the Joydial to
confirm (“Code Accepted should display) 12. Press and hold the red End key to
turn the handheld off and then back on. 13. Once the device has powered on,
follow steps 1 & 2 and restore connections. Model:
Curve 8300, 8310, 8320, 8520, 8800, 8820, 8900, Bold 9000, 9630 Tour, 9700
Bold Before
you start, you MUST have a Sim Card (could be Active or Inactive) & turn OFF
ALL wireless radios 1. Press the Menu key 2. Scroll to and select Manage
Connections. Select Turn All Connections Off. 3. Press the red end key or the
Escape key to go back to the Home screen. 4. Scroll to and select the Options
icon. 5. Scroll to and select Advanced Options. 6. Scroll to and select
SIM Card. 7. Type MEPD Note: When typing in MEPD the letters will not appear
on the screen. This step opens up the personalization on the device. 8. Type
MEP then hold ‘ALT” key and type number 2. Note: When typing in MEP ATL 2 the

Accepted should display) 11. Press and hold the red End key to turn the

Model: 9500, 9530 Storm, 9550 Storm 2, Telus, Bell Canada Storm
Before you start,
you MUST have an Unauthorized Sim Card inserted. An unauthorized Sim Card is a
Sim Card that is NOT belong to the provider of the phone. Example: If you have
a Verizon phone, you need to insert a T-Mobile Sim Card inside the phone before
turn it on. 1. Power on the phone. 2. Phone will said "MEP check failed.
Do you want to enter MEP unlock code". Select Yes. 3. "Enter Network MEP
code (# left)". Enter the unlock code. 4. Press Enter, you should see “Code
Accepted” 5. You need to check Network Connection is set on GSM/UMTS.
Menu>Manage Connection>Mobile Network Options and make sure it
GSM/UMTS. 6. Once GSM/UMTS is selected. You can now ready to make phone
call. Notice: If the network not working after your phone is fully charged
and unlocking process “Code Accepted”. You must change from Verizon CDMA
network to GSM Global Network a few times, after change from Verizon CDMA to GSM
Global 3 times is completed, leaves it on GSM Global Network. Now it should
work. (Verizon 8830 World Edition DOES NOT work in USA) Method 2:
Model: 8830, 9500, 9530 Storm, 9550 Storm 2, Telus, Bell Canada
Storm
Before you start,

phone sideways so you get the full QWERTY keypad. 1. Press the Menu
key 2. Scroll to and select Manage Connections. Select Turn All Connections
Off. 3. Press the red end key or the Escape key to go back to the Home
screen. 4. Scroll to and select the Options icon. 5. Scroll to and select
Advanced Options. 6. Scroll to and select SIM Card. 7. Type MEPD Note:
When typing in MEPD the letters will not appear on the screen, this step open up
the personalization on the device. 8. Type MEP then hold ‘ALT” key and type
number 2. Note: When typing in MEP ATL 2 the letters/number will not appear on

unlock code. 10. Press Enter (Press the trackball for 8830), you should see
“Code Accepted” 11. Press and hold power key to turn the handheld off and
then back on. 12. Once the device has powered on, follow steps 1 & 2 and
restore connections. Notice: If the network not working after your phone is
fully charged and unlocking process “Code Accepted”. You must change from
Verizon CDMA network to GSM Global Network a few times, after change from
Verizon CDMA to GSM Global 3 times is completed, leaves it on GSM Global
Network. Now it should work. (Verizon 8830 World Edition DOES NOT work in
USA)
Blackberry Torch (9800) Unlock Code Entry Instructions
1. Turn off all of the wireless connections (manage connections - turn all connections off) 2. Go to the Options icon on the device
3. Select Device
4. Select Advanced System Settings (at the bottom of the page)
5. Select Sim Card
6. Enter mepd (you will not be able to see the typed info)(enter just the mepd, no spaces, etc.)
7. Enter the letters: mep2
8. Now it will say enter network mep code
9. Enter the code given you, this code is 11 digits.
10. Your Torch is now unlocked.
